Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

  • Handle all AP & AR-related entries
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Constantly update job knowledge
  • Complies with state and central tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounts application, Deadline-Oriented, Managing Profitability, Accounting, Audit, SFAS Rules, Financial Skills, Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Research Skills, Statistical Analysis, Business Knowledge, Good Verbal & Written Communications skils
